Cupcake Party!

I was off work this past Monday so I picked up Rory and we went to see The Tale of Despereaux with Grandma Sally. We loved the movie and decided to get lunch at Paradise Bakery. Then, we went to Walmart (shhh, don't tell Doug) to get some things and saw some cute Valentines cupcake decorations and thought it would be fun to make cupcakes together. We spent the rest of the afternoon mixing up Red Velvet cake batter and decorating all the different cupcakes. We had a blast!

We usually try to take a picture each year so we can have it for the yearly calendar Debbie puts together. It's always fun to see how we all change over the years. We had a great Thanksgiving! We stuffed ourselves and then played games and watched a movie outside on a big screen we made out of a sheet. We rented a video projector and watched the movie Wall-E out underneath the clouds until it started to rain and then we had to hustle and get all the equipment underneath the carport. We still watched the movie outside. Go figure...it never rains in Arizona on Thanksgiving day and the one time we actually plan something IT DOES RAIN, and it wasn't just a light sprinkle.
